Polycystic ovary syndrome, further known as "PCOS"; Is a condition that's affecting less than 20% of women. It's caused by a hormonal imbalance, more specifically; sex hormones. Weird menstrual cycles, trouble with pregnancies, and ovarian cysts are just a few of the possible symptoms.
That is scary right? The fact your estrogen and progesterone hormones are out of whack. These are the hormones that help release eggs! You could also have a male hormone called androgen, a small amount. They say it's not completely understood how these changes are made, but there must be a solution!
PCOS is normally diagnosed with women in their 20s and 30s. Teenaged girls could also have it, but it's rare. Usually, the woman with PCOS has a sister or a mother with it.
Symptoms of PCOS are erratic:
So, what's the point? Male-like characteristics? Irregular menstruation cycle? No. The point is the treatment.

Symptoms of PCOS are erratic:
- Irregular periods from light to heavy.
- Virilization (Male-like characteristics)
- Enlargment of the clitoris
- Decreased breast size
- Body hair growing in unusual spots
So, what's the point? Male-like characteristics? Irregular menstruation cycle? No. The point is the treatment.
Doctor's can poke and prod you all they want with blood tests, pelvic exams, ultrasounds. But seriously, what is the point? You can have all the tests and still won't matter. You can look up the symptoms for ovarian cysts and find out exactly what you need to know. Going to the doctor for expensive tests is just a waste of money.
You should see what some medical sites say about treatment:
PubMed Health:U.S. National Library of Medicine
They say the diabetes medicine called "Glucophage" (metformin) will make your periods more regular, prevent type 2 diabetes, and help you lose weight.
What's a diabetes medicine doing solving PCOS?
Supposedly it's only used if reducing your body weight doesn't restart ovulation.
Reaching a healthy weight can restart ovulation, but if that isn't successful; Using 'medicine' (What type of medicine was not explained) to correct "Insulin metabolism" may restart ovulation. Now if that doesn't work, you're about to get a cocktail of miscellanious drugs.
There's also more 'medicine'.
(Oh what fun!)
LH-releasing hormone (LHRH) Analogs.
"Luteinizing Hormone Releasing Hormone Agonist"
So it's a drug that's supposed to counteract? Oh right! It's a sex steroid! Do you really want this in your body?
Clomiphene Citrate
The only drug on this list that makes any sense. It's job is to help the ovaries release the egg. It will stimulate ovulation in women who aren't ovulating or women that have irregularity. But you can't use this drug unless you are overweight. (This is also a drug for men who have a low sperm count!)
Even with all these 'treatments' they also say doctors/nurses will suggest 'hairloss/abnormal hair growth treatments' — Because you need more drugs in you. Actually, hairloss is normally associated with diabetes. To me, it's starting to look like everyone is linking ovarian cyst and PCOS with diabetes.
They also say two more things:
"With treatment, women with PCOS are usually able to get pregnant. There is an increased risk of high blood pressure and gestational diabetes during pregnancy."
Just want you want to hear; More risks—high blood pressure, gestational diabetes during pregnancy.
Here's the last one:
"Endometrial cancer, Infertility, and breast cancer."
So, what is the point in all this? Information? Educational? The truth. Polycystic ovary syndrome has been a lie. Don't leave, let me explain why.
There's natural methods you can do that can start shrinking ovarian cysts and eliminate almost all types of cysts within eight weeks. There's foods that provoke cysts, removing these foods from your diet will help reduce cysts. There's food that help reduce cysts as well; They're all natural ingredients that help you. The cardinal sin of ovarian cysts treatment almost every woman is guilty of, which instead of curing your ovarian cysts; It weakens and destroys your body's natural ability to defend itself, thus putting your health in serious risk and making your ovarian cysts worse in the long run (and almost everybody's doing it!)
A link in insulin resistance, PCOS and ovarian cysts that can help you start fighting the problem right now, and reversing it and preventing more problems.
I could go on and on.
This is an 11-year old study, and it works. What the doctors are doing, is a medical trap! The doctors know the truth about the drugs, the birth control pills, and the risky surgeries, but it's always been about one thing; Money. Do you really want to spend all that money on a pointless endeavor just to watch your cash sprout wings and fly away? No one does.
